The siphon is an odor stopper between the sink drain and the sewage system. The siphon installation is necessary with all disposers. In certain cases, the existing siphon can be used (if it has been already installed), but generally it is necessary to use a new siphon, which meets all the requirements for installation – functionality, variability and identical lead of the bolt thread to the one of the drain pipe elbow.
